Role Overview:
As a Transgrid PSSR Authorised Tree Worker, you will be responsible for carrying out vegetation management activities in accordance with Transgrid’s Personal Safety & Site Rules (PSSR). This role requires strict adherence to safety protocols, environmental standards, and operational efficiency while working near high-voltage transmission networks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Vegetation clearance around transmission lines and substations in compliance with Transgrid PSSR.
- Tree pruning and removal to maintain safe clearance zones and reduce hazards.
- Risk assessment of trees and vegetation near electrical infrastructure.
- Safety compliance following Transgrid PSSR and industry best practices at all times.
- Team collaboration with arborists, ground crew, and project managers to deliver efficient outcomes.
- Reporting and documentation of site activities, incidents, and compliance checks.
